| Photos of my trike |
Several of you have asked to see more pics of the trike I built. I took these yesterday down at the park. How this gives you a better idea of what it looks like. Check out the MZ engines at Compact Radial Engines. Mouse over the image and it should rotate. |

The engine is the Compact Radial MZ34. Produces 28hp and weighs 42lbs. Comes standard with a starter. The prop bolts are 8mm so you will need to drill the prop out just a little. The motormounts are 1/8" steel, laser cut with .065 round tubing welded to hold the engine. The other steel are the rails for the seat and the outriggers for the landing gear. All the frame tubing is T6 2" square aluminum. The mast is double walled on both ends and has an internal safety cable. |

The front end is really basic. I used a single bolt through the frame (has a steel crimped sleeve) to hold a U-bent frame for the wheel. Front brake is off one of the little scooters. |

As you can see, I had to make a lot of stuff up. This is the front brake handle. I love Ace Hardware. They have all kinds of cool knobs and balls and things. |
